Hold the Carbon is delighted to announce the release of its first product - the X Bag, a 100% PET bag that is portable, durable and stylish.  The release of our first product was the culmination of several months of intense trial and error (yes, we made plenty of mistakes along the way) before developing this amazing eco-friendly bag.

Finally, you can own a green bag that you can take with you at all times. Save that big bag you bought at the grocery store for days when you plan out your heavy duty shopping. For daily use take the X Bag with you.  While other bags are on the market none have been designed to put the needs of consumers first. Green bags tend to be bulky, and frankly they aren't that green. When we say we are green, we mean it. Our X Bag is 100% PET.

The X Bag is the first to be made under the Hold the Carbon banner, but it is not our only product.  In fact, we can work with businesses, universities, and even governments to create customized products for their needs. 

The company was founded in 2008 strangely enough after a trip to a Long Island deli. The founders realized after placing a 4th of July order for friends and family they had obtained a dozen plastic bags. It seemed excessive, bad for the environment and bad for business. There must be a better way, right? It seemed so obvious, yet there was no solution offered by that deli, or any other. Why not? By the end of the holiday weekend, a draft business plan was written and a new business was born.
